The Funicular Circus

With our installations we try to draw attention to the space between, and below, and above, to the light and the wind, and to how we are not only part of the landscape but are supported by it.

The Funicular Circus (our name comes from the Latin word funis, for rope, as in funicular railroad) is  an adventurous  contemporary circus effort that combines traditions of wire walking with art and design. We have an ecological perspective. We explore connections with natural landscapes, especially rivers.
